After a morning departure from the Essex area , we shall head Northwards to the beautiful City of York. Steeped in history, the fascinating walled city of York is a pretty, historical town full of intrigue and heritage. Founded by the Romans, its centrepiece is the stunning 13th Century York Minster. With quaint cobbled streets and welcoming pubs alongside its vibrant cafés, York offers the perfect contrast of old and new.
